I'm not OP, but I wanted to thank you. You are good with words. You're a good person, and I wish you good health and fortune not just for today but for your entire life.
Even the pain of a dog can be heart-wrenching. But the feeling that a person truly cares for you, even in the darkest of days, and embraces you- the feeling of your pain truly being understood- It is heavenly.
As a wise man once said, gotta have a little sadness once in a while so you know when the good times come. If you feel sad, or feel like crying, don't ever feel bad about that- Instead, remember that life is a precious thing, and every second of it is priceless. Each moment is unique, and cannot be replicated, so instead treasure those precious moments, no matter how sad or painful they can be. For it is the gift of life, which few beings receive.
Even as a person suffering from depression (I'm not gonna kill myself, it's just that I have a bad habit of getting melancholic, please don't worry for me), it's definitely odd and maybe even wrong that I actively seek out doujinshi, animes and et cetera that are sad or otherwise depressing in some way. I think the reason behind it is the beauty behind those feelings - They're incomparable. But of course, if that's the real reason or not is debatable.
