I never stood her on those feet so I can't say how effective they were, but if you order standing bolts this is what they'll look like most of the time. Recently some manufacturers have been making standing dolls without bolts, I think the way they do it is cast the feet in another very hard material, pros is no bolts, cons is there might be differences in skin tone.

Cut the rest of the feet off, noticed some weird dents on the shin bone. Wonder if they're just taking scrap metal pipes and welding them together to cut costs of if it's caused during the casting process.
