I just downloaded every single touhou doujinshi scanlated by Gaku-Touhou up to 2013 and cried because of how full of love the doujinshi and books are, there's even a western fan-novel (which I still have to read) in it and it seems very cute
nowadays people are so mean and no one's honest anymore
And I'm not going to act like I'm some "supreme oldfag" because I'm only 1x years old, but still I really like "oldfag" culture because of how comfortable and nice the works and people were back then, everything felt like a labour of love
this board is beyond saving nowadays, too many normal people, I read the entirety of the catalog and only found 3 or 4 good threads, it's sad to see how many generals exist despite the existence of them going against the concept of imageboards, it's sad to see vtubers being a thing at all (3dpd women being worshipped and treated as equal to 2d women, when 2d women are so much more important)
this may just sound like rambling, but reading the cute and fun stories from 2013 and back really made me think "wow the world really was a amazing place with good people" and guess what? it still is!! it's just that the normals took over our beloved otaku internet, and now it's harder to find non-normal good hearted people with true passion for something, like touhou
you can choose to just ignore me since I'm "young" but I truly mean what I'm saying here, the internet isn't for outcasts weirdo "degenerates" like me anymore... and that makes me sad... but at least I can kind of experience how it was like back then by reading old doujinshi!
