That's literally the only reason why I use this thread and I'm so mad /vt/ and specific vtuber generals happened. Actually I'm mad about the /vyt/ split for the same reason too.
I want to watch a stream and still know about stuff that's happening at the same time in other streams, be it holo or niji. It used to be possible to do that, to just watch and post about my oshi or some stream while keeping up with other streams in a single thread.
But ever since EN happened and raiders become rampant, and moderation shat the bed, the thread has become more and more unusable with just a bunch of erp shit and schizo loops going on over and over and over.
It didn't use to be like this, but /vt/ really exacerbated the problem.
And it fucking sucks because I hate discord (breeding ground for interpersonal drama, which ironically is the excuse used by our good and exceptionally brilliant moderation team to further shit up the thread) and twitter is shit for stream discussions since it's too spread out/fragmented.
Same for /vt/, global doesn't give a shit about jp streamers and the generals for jp vtubers are fucking dead most of the time because you can't keep a thread going with only two or three chuubas who either stream at the same time or on such spread out schedules it might as well not justify a general's existence.
So yeah, I'll keep posting here about the streams I watch, even if it's a dumb picture with a dumb chatpost or a N99 translation from what's being said because at least some anon might find it useful or get a chuckle even as I know 90% of the posters here are bad faith actors who keep shitting the thread up over some long-gone grudges against the virtual youtubers general and the hobby in general.
