Such is life. The only WW2 battlecruiser that both actually survived the war and did accomplish something during it is completely ignored in favor of lesser boats. If you read a book about bong battlecruisers during WWII, you can bet it will be 90% "muh Hood wuz da greatest boat ever", 9% muh Repulse and Force Z, and Renown gets a footnote on the last page.
