As a lover of trivia, there's this show I've been watching on an actual japanese tv channel (Waku waku or something) called マツコの知らない世界, which is essentially like a talk show, but instead of celebrity guests マツコ talked to a person (or two) who had a lot of interests (be it commercial or academic) in certain things. There's an episode on 図鑑 and turns out there's an encyclopedia on those fish-shaped onions sauce bottles, listed as if they're actual fishes.
