You gimp too much by going full AA unless the map is easy like 2-2. 1-4 monthly works too, otherwise it's don't really worth it in my opinion. AA cut in in general is pretty questionable affair on everything that's not destroyer, you sacrifice too much. AS(+) doesn't destroy a lot of bombers per slot like you'd expect(here's the effect of one node of enemy Air Superiority on 1-4 for reference). Those meager extra 8 would do nothing, while normal day-time double attack on Maya is much more likely to sink something compared to the shit you get by giving her AA cut-in.
