Even if that's the case, my point about "not thinking to hard about it" still stands.
The setting is a wish fulfillment setting, if you start looking to hard at it, you start to see the cracks quite quickly. KC saying it's due to "fate" is lazy but gets the point across. "why does this happen" can me answered with "because I like it" no mater how little sense it makes.
So stop asking questions and sign the damn contract, anon!
