Never underestimate how stupid management can be. Look at Johnny & Associates and their whole...everything. Because they're scared of photoshop/mods they don't let their artist appear in magazines and Judgement won't get ported to PC.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rio's management was the ones to push her into acting just so they could micromanage everything.
