"nobody's perfect after all". You just gotta be appealing to your fans in your own kind of way. That's how she steals the hearts of everyone. Yeah yuiyui, we all know she's such a battlehardy and committed tryhard from the start, and now we're all amazed that she became this one of a kind beauty (not her nose) and potentially even one of Japan's upcoming top idols of all time. Subtracting her staff/mgmt actions out of the formula- she aced it fucking well in her own initative and volition to be the best idol she can be, so in return the plebs made their payback to her in honest, outright recognition of her efforts. That's why I'm kinda sad on the sheer jealousy of some anons here.

After all, that's the point of AKB48 right? Every fan has their own niche idols to choose, adore, to throw money at and to lust from?

It's very unique compared to Western and Korean (even Chinese) talent agencies/pop groups where every member is expected to aim high and strive hard. Kinda stressful right? Of course yeah, they're topnotch quality, but their uniformness & emphasis perfectionism is the main turn off - making them bland eventually you'll get bored since they're all basically the same product after all. Of course they get all the (((fans))) since they just appeal to the dumb mainstream and use them as multibillion$ cashcows using the proven and tested(TM) hollywood/billboard100 way of making top hit shitty singles.

Y'all need to be proud that such a unique pop group exists which tries to be different than the norm. Instead of forcing them who they wanna be, they instead let them CHOOSE who they wanna be.

So for Oguri, its just losing (but with style). And whenever she loses, she willingly fights again for another day.

How did she manage to become Team 8's ace even when initial expectations from her are very dim (and there are even MUCH better eitos who are much suited than her?)
