Death Rabbits were established before the Babymetal mainstream boom and were relatively more organically formed.

They didn't have Babymetal's or Ladybaby's online viral success, but instead they just played small show after small show after small show for years. They have a fanbase all over Japan and they may not have that much of an international reach but it's not really a priority for them I think.

It was really his project at first, the majority of the songs on the first album are either centered around him or are about him or are outright sung by him. Bucho is the pillar of Death Rabbits but Ladybeard is pretty much just a hypeman that occasionally goes "ooo!" or "gyaaa!"

Death Rabbits is a slow but steady burn while Ladybaby is already burned out even if for that brief moment they shined really bright.
