Yeah, but unlike tigers (Shou), there is no widespread legend about the connection between centipedes and Bishamonten. Some say centipedes are worshiped by miners and therefore they are connected with Bishamonten, the god of wealth and jewel, others say it's actually the other way around.
Reasons why centipedes are worshiped by miners:
1) The shapes of mine shafts looks like centipedes.
2) Ancient miners brought centipedes with them. If they wiggle, it mean there were snakes around. Centipedes were believed to beat snakes, which is also why tales like >>34578199 exist.
Btw, has anyone drawn picture related touhou ver. already?
