So, I'm a huge yukio mishima fan. However, whenever I see japanese people mention yukio mishima. They seem to react as if he is a VERY controversial figure. I mean, What exactly is the controversy? Is there a stereotype of yukio mishima fans?
It seems like a similar reaction to when you mention your a fan of ayn rand in the west. Either people are super pleased and agree (Libertarians and republicans) or people are super unpleased and weirded out (socialists and democrats)

I think Yukio Mishima is a pretty cool guy. eh commits seppuku and doesn't afraid of anything.
