I used 'soulless' in the meme meaning, using Eva as example: both the OG and pachinko sprites are genuinely unsettling (the latter giving the hag a melting ayy lmao face did kind of help), while PS3 is just bruh, like they did a split between a generic house style and giving her a creepy smile, and ended up with neither
Or Virgilia, her akus in PS3 are a lot less impactful than both OG and pachinko, even if the latter are janky as fuck
Point is, a lot of people are harping on pachinko sprites, sometimes even for good reasons (turbotits, minor characters not having any and being forced into an artstyle clash), but praising Alchemist's like some godsent miracle - and I resent that
