She's 100% Japanese and living in Japan. That's good enough for me to call her Japanese. And yes, there is reason to shorten it to Rizubesu, because the nickname was DERIVED FROM THE JAPANESE SPELLING. The name was converted to kana, and the nickname was then derived from that kana spelling. Converting that nickname back to Roman letters gives us Rizubesu. Trying to make it line up with the original English name is retarded. It's been affected by the language it went through, just like ANY OTHER LOAN WORD EVER CREATED. It wouldn't have been shortened like that if it hadn't gone through Japanese, and that's why you end up with stupid shit like Lizbeth if you try to pretend it hadn't and make it line up with the original English name.
