Human boy scared of fish ends up in the mermaid kingdom. The current Primo Mermaid (Queen) tells him they can't bring him back because only a Primo Mermaid can do that (and she won't), however the kiss of true love from a human can make a mermaid become Primo, so for the days to come he will spend with each different mermaid until awakening true love. The first chapter he is introduced to a clumsy abyssal mermaid.
Unfortunately she is so clumsy she further botches everything up by turning into full fish form, which is one of those abyssal fishes, scaring him shitless to the point he fainted.
