I think it was Rob Zombie who perfectly explained the status of metal bands where you can sell millions of records and sell out arenas and headline festivals, but yet the average person (aka normies) will have no idea who the fuck you even are.

There is a fanbase, clearly, and with that comes popularity but it's its own isolated pocket of subculture, sometimes nested with a subculture like how babymetal appeals specifically to metalheads who are also otakus.

so it's just gonna be like a laserdisc collection of their concerts that stuffed into a briefcase and sells for like 400$
