Also, I managed to get the Bluray drive in my old laptop working again, so I was able to rip that Bluray I got last week. Taking screencaps straight from the M2TS (with Yadif x2 as deinterlacer) makes everything look like shit though, so I'm currently encoding the intro with my usual settings and QTGMC (although I did increase CRF from 17 to 19 and set QTGMC's preset from "Slow" to "Fast"). Only 3 more hours to go (that's for 1m30s of video, mind you)! Do you have any fast, decent-looking presets for 1080p idol videos that you can recommend?
