I played the demo on my PS3 the other day and enjoyed it. For some reason it made me remember the great time I had playing through the first two Serious Sam games in co-op mode many, many years ago. Man, I loved those games.
Anyway, I'm glad that developers are starting to make those silly, over-the-top shooters again, because the world has seen more than enough pseudo-realistic and grimdark FPSs à la CoD and Gears of War in the past few years. For the sake of the gaming industry, I'm really hoping that this game and Duke Nukem Forever will do well sales-wise.

No, and it doesn't help that I live in a relatively small town, so finding a place in the neighborhood is out of the question. I guess I'll have to move again or use public transport. There is no way I'm getting a car if it can be avoided.

Nah, I'll be more than happy when I have a job. I love translating things and it beats being bored all day. It's just that the whole application and interview stuff is a big obstacle for me. I really hate being judged on a superficial level. It's not like I have much of a choice either, considering I only have one semester left, and once that's over I won't be getting any more student loans. I apparently qualify for an "academic excellence scholarship" but even if I get that, it'll only tide me over for another 6 months tops. Besides, I really need to get some working experience, otherwise my dream of "DHAF Enterprises - Cute Girls and Linguistics" will never come true.
