After reading through the works of a lot of VN authors I've come to acknowledge this. Nasu really is on top of his game when it comes to writing endings. He's okayish at his worst and amazing at his best. I can't really hate any of the endings he wrote. On the other hand the dogshit taste left behind by the endings of Umineko and Higurashi still lingers on my mouth to this day.
Doubly so for Umineko since it had such a strong start.
