A few threads ago people were discussing the cost of becoming a chuuba, specifically how much it costs to have a 3D model done.

So, I just have stumbled upon a blog entry from Zig about them doing a crowdfunding for 3D models for 2 of their most popular VTubers.
It looks like they have set 3,000,000円 as their goal, that's around 27k USD at the current exchange rate.
Of course there are some crowdfunding platform fees and stuff, so they will be getting less than that in total, maybe 25k if not even less.
