Legit? Move to Japan, she is working for a Japanese company, is a massive weeb, and the best way to continue to learn the language is to have to deal with it daily.

Dude, even places like Reddit have a hate boner for Gura(and EN in general) beating all the JP holos, they had like one pinned comment where everything had to be contained, for her reaching that milestone and completely downplaying it, meanwhile hundreds of posts dedicated to Korone doing the same and treating it like it was the second coming.

I honestly get the feeling that was the case, Mori was probably their only safe bet.
Gura was probably expected to be in ID level growth at best considering how amateurish they made her, and yet she made it work somehow.
