i get the impression that most people simply load up the game, load up a character, and then fap, or perhaps simply have difficulty doing anything with the game without having to fap, and then immediately afterwards their mind shifts away from the game.

also, i believe far and away the most common topic on boards for any game which is often used for masturbation are technical issues. go onto any hongfire thread besides mod release threads and you will see that it's almost entirely request+troubleshooting with some discussion in between.

some discussion and people posting their own content has occurred in this thread. we had a discussion in which i showed an animation mod i made(>>6643236)
and explained a bit about how MMD>TDCG works(which admittedly was mostly one sided after i started posting), some people posted screenshots and a few saves, etc.

that being said, i would also like to see more content posting. people probably feel a little challenged by the stuff they see posted by the japanese(most of what you see in these threads), though.
