OK, so I just decided to give this game a shot, for shits and giggles, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how I'm supposed to dodge shit like this.

Blocking it only works for a short while, and once I get knocked down, the next wave of attacks hits me by the time I get up and move away.

I'm definitely doing something wrong here.
