What I use (Saitek P3000.) Buttons are:
A B ShuffleDeck
C D FireSpellcard
Don't use the shoulders at all. Only downside is when the battery runs low it gets sluggish, but just swap batteries and it is usually okay.
Could never use a keyboard. Especially keyboard users who use "push one button to auto-perform a combo" programs.

My controller has a button that lets me switch the analog and digital stick inputs. Does your controller have that anywhere?

For what it is worth I'm a gamepad user.

Over a 4 or 5 year period I've gone through three of these. No problems with any inputs/combos I've seen.

Fuck yeah 10 button controller with a 6 button face, and a shift key for 10 more buttons.
