There's always been one girl or another going through a heavier phase. They usually get over it.
I personally don't give a shit about it. Let the chubby chasers have someone to support.

As for the singing, that is a problem.
They can somewhat solve it with more intensive training (assuming they are not like Sayumi). But with all the events and shit, not to mention they are still in school, it seems as if there's not enough time to develop that facet in particular.

Looking at the early years of 4th, 5th, and 6th gens, they did have more lines and brought in more potential as a whole than what 9th and 10th have shown so far, so there's a clear gap here.

Most of these girls seem destined to never have more than a backup role, but again, that's nothing new in MM history. I just expect them to be a bit better, even if they are not meant to be that relevant. Gaki and Kamei spring to mind as members who never had that much of a spotlight compared to Ai-chan and Reina, but are still light-years ahead of these girls. Maybe they could be given a few more years to improve their skills, but Reina is probably nearing her graduation and there is no time.

Well, that's Tsunku/UFA's problem, they didn't bring any new blood for years and graduated a bunch of people in a short amount of time, creating a huge gap in age and talent, now they have to solve it and that's probably why we have the 11th gen auditions.

This shit certainly turned out longer than I thought.
