honestly i don't really have a problem with her and satoshi, it's moreso just a reminder of how uncreative the fandom can be with its pairings sometimes
you don't really see all that much obviously non-canon ships get written in the fanfiction community for example (outside of the gay stuff but have you ever seen any of that shit actually be in character?), but even stuff that's borderline canon like battler/erika and the aforementioned k1/shion barely have anything either
