Those 3 shows you listed are garbage popular only for their generic mainstream appeal, there's nothing interesting or good about them. You're just contributing to the point that A-1 is the most soulless corporate pseudo-studio that will do anything that's popular, so it's unsurprising that they're treating Fate as another one of their cookie cutter shows considering what it's become in recent years.

For instance, I'm not very into live action movies, but when I do go watch one in the theater, I still do my best to get immersed and take it seriously. And for the most part, the hobbies I actually spend time with are shit I'm really invested in, not just talking points.

It's quite sad that FGO has destroyed the fanbase to the point where its hyper-casual fans are attracted to something like HF movies, which are very in line with what old Nasu used to be like.
I can only hope Tsukihime never faces an issue like this. Imagine a great adaptation of Akiha's route in movie form, while people play FGO and talk loudly in the audience about a Tsukihime collab event and all the cool "FGO references" in the movie.

The translation was even more garbage. Even the punctuation was literal. Fate was written like an epic, which is why the characters often have goofy, unnatural ways of speaking and verbal tics. It's deliberately unrealistic to focus on ideals and theming whereas Tsukihime's took a more conventional and grounded approach to giving the characters unique voices.

That aside, it helps that still doesn't have VAs and Takeuchi's art was growing a lot more stiff over time even then.

I don't think that's a fair comparison. For one, those scenes are very, very narratively different and were handled by different storyboarders. Plus, budget doesn't have a direct connection to animation quality unless your definition of quality is exclusively number of keyframes. It's more likely quality dropped due to time constraints limiting retakes and corrections. Animation is dirt cheap, just time consuming. There were 9 seasons between Fate/Zero and UBW S1, but only 1 between S1 and S2. There's no doubt production issues put them behind schedule. You're probably right about the crack, though.
