Here's what I was talking about:

It's called (for now) the Charger. Hold jump and use the d-pad to fly up/down/left/right in the current 2D 'xz' plane, otherwise the you move in the 'xy' plane.

Since it's only a demo we won't know if it will be in the final game or not.

I kind of wish we would get the R-Kidou again. It was impractical as hell, but it was pretty neat.
