I was talking with my gf friends this week and one of them is an otaku(fujoshi for experts) and not for my surprise she's single and love yaoi. Out of curiosity I asked why she never got a boyfriend before because she isn't fat or ugly on the contrary she's quite pretty , and she said it's because nobody has ever confessed to her...

It's just me or the male otakus are a bunch of cowards? I can't understand it at all. Anyone can be a playa, I am one and it's not that hard. Does collection anime merchandise makes you less interested in girls?

not really. most pictures of kigurumi girls standing next to average people show that they're very tall. The larger size of the head gives the illusion of a smaller body in photos with no real substancial hieght references.
