I say, nowerays (or rather circa early 2010s, whatever years were the height of vocaloid) you see many characters "inspired" by Hatsune Miku.
My question is, was ME-tan "inspired" by Dejiko? it came out near the time of the height of Di Gi Charat's popularity.
