As she is meant to be a monarch of mummies, he quickly settled on having her share some of the mummies' features - bandages, and cracked skin. He does point out that cracked skin would usually be ugly and dry, but hey, monster girls already all have succubi powers, maintaining skin moisture shouldn't be too much trouble for them, he jokes.
(So to the guy pointing out that they look more like wounds than markings to him, I guess you weren't too far off the mark!)
From those cracks, the massive amount of magical energy in their body leaks out, with a slight red glow.
As they've kind of taken on the shape of a heart in one spot, they might even have a kind of magical effect!
As a god-king, she had to be lavishly covered in lots of jewelry, also to match the designs of Anubis and Sphinx. Her outfit and looks are meant to vaguely confer the appearance of a sun god, hence the blue and gold striped patterns, and almost excessive amounts of gold in general.
The other running theme in her outfit is of course snakes, and the golden serpents wrapped around her body? Those are real! They can move freely and wind around her body as they please. As a side effect, the cloth tied to said snakes will shift and flow about as well with each of their movement. All in all, it gives every one of the Pharaoh's movements a kind of grace as if they were dancing, with their bodies adorned in a fashion that is both graceful and indecent.
