Anonymous,
Why do you obsess over the lives of normalfags?

People usually only understand themselves in context to other people. If you feel you're doing something wrong or unusual, that's community/cultural pressure for better or worse.

I'm not too sure what to make of it either.
I feel that there's a growing trend in the world to produce more people like us who are socially estranged and plugged into a carefully tailored "media source" of their design. They live in a combination of virtual communities and their media, their otakuism, more than even a religion, is a lifestyle.

I feel a lot like you, but occasionally I do get this strange sensation of loneliness, but when I spend time with people, it doesn't take me more than an hour to grow tired of them all over again. I realise more and more that acting like a normal social person feels forced, exhausting, uncomfortable and ultimately unrewarding, so here I am.

I wonder what we gain from being like this? Are we better or no worse than anyone else?
