Why do you want to learn something as useless as Japanese?
Spend your time learning an actual useful language like Mandarin or Spanish or Russian.

Hell even something as shitty as French is vastly more useful than that shitty language learned by shitty people in some god forsaken closed off island no one cares about.

I took the time that I was dedicating to practicing Japanese each day and I just replaced it with online work.

I think it was a good trade. I'll never learn Japanese, but I can make enough money to pay people to translate things for me if I want to. Best of both worlds.
