I cannot take that seriously. I'm sorry, I'm really trying, but the only god I manage to imagine is a Japanese with a weird hat, skinny as hell, and with a mug of beer in each hand.

That obvious and sadly predictable joke being made, the idea of the Hakurei Miko taking her power from a god sure is interesting. Makes me wonder if Sanae, with Kanako's wind manipulation power, could have brought the rocket to the moon. Sure, there's no air in space, but if it's launched from the Earth with enough force, maybe it can work.
Or it'll burn in the atmosphere, or deviate out of its tracks and end up as a satellite.
