Is it really necessary to delete dozens of pages from /jp/ because they're supposedly filled with "off-topic" content?

No other board on 4chan gets this treatment and they're all fine.
One thing I can say for sure.
The future of this board is not bright if things keep rolling like this.

Dear /jp/,

I haven't been coming here long, so please forgive me for this horrid first post. I like this board a lot, have been spending a lot of time here lately, and I enjoy the board a lot.
Before I am banned or beset with replies telling me to go to /a/ and /v/ or to suck a dick for making this thread, I just wanted to ask you guys to be a little nicer to one another. This is a great place, but consistently threads are covered with shitposting. Not shitposting as in off-topic or trolling. Its just posters hating each other for the tiniest of things that they could easily overlook, and honestly shouldn't have to.

I'm sorry for wasting your time with another shitty meta-thread, because I hate them too.
But can't we all just get along a tiny bit better?

Anyway, back to Youmu pictures?
