Hi there /jp/

I started learning Japanese last year on and off and I'm doing my best, although it takes a lot for me to get my head around Kanji. Especially when they can have different sounds depending on where they are in a word. I suppose that it's mainly based on memorization rather than reading.

In any case I've heard that listening to Japanese constantly can help with language retention. Does /jp/ know of any Japanese news sites that do live 24 hour streams or websites that do streams of Japanese television channels?
