Yes you can filter anything to make anything seem however you want, if this is the angle you wish to go you have to argue that the filters used are not needed or wrong. The reason these filters are used are also pointed out. The first filter checking how much of the alphabet is used in a message. An example of that is so that Japanese people using English words in a sentence are not picked up as foreigners and a foreigner that says "this is 草" is not picked up as Japanese.
We can agree this filter is needed correct?

The second filter is counting how much English a user of a comment is using in total as seen in the image. This helps with guys like this >>29771802 Who copy paste a few sentences but otherwise talk in english. I pointed it out before but this helps in Marine's stream where both Japanese and English say Ahoy in english. It this filter wasn't used everyone who wrote Ahoy would be marked as a foreigner. so it congregates all a users messages before deciding if they are a foreigner or Japanese
We agree this filter is needed correct?
The only downside to this is that obviously it can't pick out a foreigner who only speaks Japanese in chat which may explain situations like this one >>29771986 although people tend to complain about EOPs and how many eops watch and not people who write Japanese only. If you wanted you could theory that there are a hell of a lot of foreigner viewers that are fluent in Japanese watching Hololive but it would not able to be proven as that data is only available to the channel owner.

This seems to be an opinion piece and offtopic I can only presume you linked it thinking I only watch hololive and that it would upset me but regardless of who gains most in collabs I enjoy them nevertheless.
