If you're using converted models you're better off just making separate models for each outfit.
You *could* use expressions to hide/show different outfits, but either your model will explode from going over the polygon limit or it will look retarded as HELL because of physics issues (unless with PMX models there is a way to make expressions that change the visibility of a material [Alpha value 0 instead of 1] as opposed to just shrinking it).
