On a not-wicca approach, I found Liber Null and Phil Hine's work to be fairly easy to understand, though not a comprehensive beginner's guide(but really, what on it's own is?).

I chortle at trying to understand a magician's intentions. Advanced magicians are either amazingly simple or amazingly complex. Or both, in a way. It can be very difficult to describe.

In any case, as a magician gets closer and closer to becoming a youkai rather than a human, they have no reason not to join with youkai in other ways. Alice is an exception rather than a rule. She chose to stay with humans for her own reasons. Nostalgia perhaps, Marisa perhaps, or because she believes humanity offers more than the youkai can(which they may be able to, depending on your view).

Still, Byakuren has no reason to consider herself human anymore. She is no traitor for a kingdom she has no purpose in serving.

Sure, you may have the ancient ones, but the more modern ones that explain the concept better are superior. I rebound with Liber Null.

Hey guys, I hear all of this stuff about christfags and islamfags and mormonfags and jews. But what about magickfags? Don't we get points for being disliked by almost all organized religions to-date?

How can one easily explain my religion? More importantly, how can one describe my religion without beginning a shitstorm?

I go to school, studying to be a sous chef. A bit reclusive, but I talk on a daily basis and don't fear social interaction(though I'm not good at it).

The only truly strange thing about me is my life philosophy and internal practice. Pic related. Maybe /jp/ can learn something from this? Look up the books sometime.

I've got ambitions for life after death. The way fate has revealed itself to me, I can live without fear.
