It took 6 days to get the mock-up image (digital test of design before they paint the doll), and another 2 to get the factory pictures. It shipped from China the next day (16th) and arrived yesterday in USA. They used UPS "special line", in my understanding it's basically worldwide express shipping but they pay for a customs broker. No issues with importing. Box was brought to door by UPS, no signature required. Nothing too obvious about doll on box, just looks like something fragile from China. She was packaged with a lot of styrofoam, protective stuff etc, head not attached and with a blanket on top. If you look up box openings for dolls from other companies there isn't anything remarkably different about packaging.

Communication with Dollter was mostly good, but they may be annoying towards you about trying to get you as a customer if you are only intending to ask them questions or can't pay yet, and they said they'd send me an extra wig for free that I didn't end up getting. They are a genuine Aotume retailer though, and their shipping process is good. I don't know how Dollto-China compares, but I don't think they sell the 135cm dolls.
