Yesterday I found out how to buy kindle books from amazon.co.jp, so the first one I bought was Yui's. I followed this guide and 2 videos on youtube.
https://japanoscope.com/can-i-read-japanese-books-on-kindle/
Except checkout wouldn't work directly with my bank's card, despite the guides saying it works with foreign cards. So the workaround I found was to, with your card, put enough money to buy the book into your Amazon gift card balance, then at checkout, use that gift card balance to pay for the book.
!!!But be sure to set your card's billing address to your actual billing address. I didn't do that step the first time I tried, and I think Amazon defaulted it to the (required) Japanese shipping address, so my bank noticed and disabled my card because they thought it was a fraud attempt. Then I had to sit down with a bank staff guy to order a new card. What a pain!

I don't own a kindle device but I can read it in the browser on my pc, and the pages are delivered to the browser as jpegs, so I can save them and post them here. The problem is that the pages are split in half into two jpegs, so I have to save the two halves of the page and then use graphicsmagick (or imagemagick) to put them together into a single image, like so:
$ gm convert -append tophalf.jpg bottomhalf.jpg fullpage.jpg
I would like to save the whole book on my pc for safekeeping, and more importantly, for higher res images: suprisingly, you can't zoom in on images in the "cloud reader" web page. Even zooming the page just zooms the UI but not the images. There's 167 pages, so it will be tedious having to manually save them and run the above shell command for each page, so I'll see if theres a way to automate at least some of the process. If not, I'll just do a few pages manually each time I look at the book. Eventually I'll have the whole thing saved. I'll post more pages here every now and then.

It feels so good to support one of my favorite casters after enjoying for years. The whole book is gorgeous. You should really buy it, especially since the more it sells, the more likely she'll make a second one.
