I don't know much Japanese, but it does track with how... varied the translations are.
I do hope in the future we see Kaguya show more interest/concern for Mokou, seeing as how Kaguya-centric Mokou is like you said. It does pull at my heartstrings a little bit that Mokou panicked at first with how she thought Kaguya was leaving, yet Kaguya never found out. And agreed, but I don't think Mokou will ever say it out loud. As said before, I think either admitting she doesn't fully hate Kaguya or admitting her dad was kind of a shit person would make her confront the fact that her life has essentially been full of hate supporting a lie.
Regardless, I hope we can both agree that both characters are pretty damn good and it sucks that people reduce them down to their memes.

If you randomly came across the two of them fighting to the death, who would you side with to help kill the other if you were forced to choose?
