Life is too short to care about whether things are good for you or not

Namco really hurts souls games with their dumb prepare to die marketing
In any other game you'd fight a boss, see that you're completely outmatched and understand that it's something you're supposed to do later once you've leveled up
But because souls games have this reputation of being uber hard games, when they're really not, players keep smashing their head against brick walls and end up not enjoying the games. The game is supposed to be very hard, they think and just keep on dying in vain instead of thinking about a strategic retreat or a different approach which the game actually wants you to do.
What makes these games way easier than invincibility frames or mechanicl skill is being observant of your surrounding and aware of your arsenal. The ebin PREPARE TO DIE marketing completely shit on that and the game's design itself. And sadly over time From fell victim to this as well, making roll fest bosses instead of making them interesting. I don't like when people go "ur playin it wrong" but sadly a whole generation of gamers is playing these game wrong because of misleading marketing
