It's been over a year since your wife Dlanor was taken for a supposedly top-secret mission that's essential to the war effort in the Baltics. The Great war is coming to a close so you've been preparing a welcome party for when she comes back. You've been so worried throughout the year waiting for the day your wife comes back, Thoughts of starting a family swirl in your head every single day. How you'd take the family out to picnics, how you'd read bedtime stories to your daughter before tucking into bed, How you and the love of your life will grow old together and you'd get to see her smile for the rest of your life. As these thoughts swirl throughout your head, A knock is heard on the door. You open it to see that no one is there and that a letter is placed on the ground. As you open the letter, Your heart begins to sink when you see a note and a picture.

Dearest Anon:

As the war ends for me,
I have no regrets,
I’ve seen too much horror
I hope fate has been more merciful to you.

Our time on Earth is brief,
and mine has been filled with so much joy,
that I can only be thankful for
how much I’ve been blessed,
most especially for the wonder
you brought into my life.

This letter is my last,
The blood I carry is an inescapable truth
I have bled for my country and I am proud to serve turkey even in my final moments.

War makes men mad.

Though I never got to start a family with you,
I want you to know every second that I've spent with you I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I fought for my country and my liberty,
my honor is assured.
Since it is the will of God to separate us on Earth,
I hope we’ll meet again in heaven.
Live a long life anon and if you can't do it yourself do it for me.
