I'd like to agree with you, but statistically speaking, most high int guys have to settle for girls that aren't on their level through no fault of their own.
Also, in terms of anecdotal evidence, I've personally found that intelligent women who aren't crazy are far rarer than their male counterpart. Just let an intelligent-seeming girl ramble on about something she cares about for a bit without intervening and see what happens.
