It's art from Tomato. It's the third time they get him for Mei cards.

>Why is it so pathetic.
It's a dekisokonai, anon. Being pathetic is just inherent to its nature.

Well, Gou/Sotsu was a big enough deal it got other derivative stuff based on it - voice drama, manga that's still running, the Mei mobile game... That's really what matters.

If none of that existed for example, and we just had the Rei Oni/Hoshi manga you'd probably see more people pretending none of it existed.

New Mei stuff:
"Witch Personality" Satoko:
https://files.catbox.moe/dfazvc.txt
Voice lines:
https://files.catbox.moe/7i2xuk.7z

It takes place in the second Showa world, where Reina and Ayaka are present, with the first part covering Satoko playing a prank on Satoshi, and the second one involving a baseball game.
The last third is the meat of the story, where Meitoko meets with Witchtoko, who comments on how Satoko is the only one who doesn't remember the previous world and then uses a bit of magic to help Meitoko remember, whereupon Meitoko starts referring to her witch counterpart as "Watakushi-sama". Meitoko then remembers that she forgot Rika, and freaks out over having such a happy time with her brother in that world, so Witchtoko erases her memory and sends her back, where Shmion comments that Satoko suddenly started talking in such a pretentious fashion, upon which Satoko asks something of Mion offscreen, though Satoshi isn't included in the conversation.
Witchtoko then comments on her fragment self, and refers to the situation as an "imitation", and how some entity has been trying to sap her power. It ends with her talking to an offscreen Eua about intervening a little to make things more interesting, though they'll still be looking on from the sidelines.

I really wasn't expecting the Tatariakashi card to go in this direction, though it's nice to see my theory of Satoko being the lynchpin and the antagonist invading her world and twisting it to her purposes basically being confirmed, I guess.
