I don't understand the uproar. Hololive are anime girls voiced by real girls. They are 50% idol and 50% anime waifu and they come from japan, that makes them 100% jp in my book. They fit perfectly here and they will not leave.
I personally only watch pekora because I think she is by far the best of them all but everyone can enjoy whatever they want. Pekora for example is a real professionla, she will turn anything into pure entertainment. I can watch shitty/mediocre games which I would never care to play myself and get a lot of fun out of it, listening to her cute voice and all the shenanigans she does. Hows that any different to watching other idol stuff really? How is that worse than writing the same low IQ post with absolute 0 content in the same 2hu thread every single day? And btw I also enjoy the 2hu games greatly and normal idol shows, especially Hinatazaka46.
