Then the word 'dead' is completely meaningless, and the reds that point to the solution are meaningless as well. And if that's the case, the only way to solve the mystery before episode 7 is by guessing which of the many possible interpretations of the fictional scenes is correct, and twisting the reds to fit your theory. That would make Umineko an unfair mystery and go against the message about trusting the author in episode 5.
