You're in the Forest of Magic picking mushrooms one day
While heading home you spot someone picking mushrooms
Holding back for a while wary that it's a youkai that might see you as prey but notice after a while it's just a human girl that looks like a witch
Walking over to her she acts strange just as you get to a few paces away
Towering over her with her now completely in your shadow
She drops to the floor and cowers with her head in her knees, her oversized hat pulled down over her head
'P-p-lease don't bully me, I'm really gettin' tired of it lately ze?'
Confused you say nothing for a moment but tread a few paces closer, but notice it's Marisa
'N-n-no, p-p-please, I'll throw myself in a puddle or somethin' if you just wanna laugh at me..'
You get down on your knees to almost her height, still huddled at the base of a tree
Marisa starts trembling even more
But you reach out and give her a hug from behind, wrapping both arms around her
After a few seconds she stops trembling
She doesn't say anything but she turns round and falls into your lap as you sit under the tree, wrapping her arms around your waist in a hug
You're not sure why Marisa was acting like she did but she lets a little smile light up her face
